Limited Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY
Trailer Alarms, LLC warrants to the original purchaser only that the electronic alarm control board contained within the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of five 5 years from the original date of purchase.
For purposes of this warranty, normal use means the product has been installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with Trailer Alarms, LLC written instructions.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the electronic alarm control board. It does not apply to batteries, wiring, sirens, keypads, GPS components, LTE modules, accessories, or any external components.
If a defect covered by this Limited Warranty occurs within the five year period, Trailer Alarms, LLC will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective control board with a comparable model. Repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.
Trailer Alarms, LLC specifically limits this Limited Warranty to no more than two repairs or replacements of the control board during the original five year warranty period. After two repairs or replacements have been performed, no further warranty service will be provided.
To obtain warranty service, you must contact Trailer Alarms, LLC to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization RMA number before returning any product. A clear copy of the original sales receipt is required. The product must be returned postage prepaid.
This Limited Warranty does not cover labor costs for removal, diagnosis, troubleshooting, reinstallation, or shipping charges. It does not apply to products damaged by accident, misuse, neglect, improper installation, improper service, modification, unauthorized repair, environmental exposure beyond intended use, or any cause not arising from defects in materials or workmanship.
This Limited Warranty is nontransferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
A product’s warranty is automatically void if its serial number is defaced, altered, or removed.
DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
This Limited Warranty is the only express warranty provided by Trailer Alarms, LLC. To the maximum extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the same five 5 year period stated above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
These systems are designed as deterrents against possible theft. No security system can guarantee prevention of theft or loss. Trailer Alarms, LLC does not insure against theft of the trailer or its contents and assumes no liability for any loss or damage resulting from theft, attempted theft, or misuse of the system.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trailer Alarms, LLC shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or commercial damages, including but not limited to loss of time, loss of earnings, loss of use, loss of business opportunity, or loss of property.
In all cases, the total liability of Trailer Alarms, LLC shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product.
GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from or relating to this Limited Warranty shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Comal County, Texas.
